Innovation Management Systems Masterclass
16 Oct

16 Oct to 16 Oct

Launched in July 2019, ISO 56002 is the new international guidance for innovation management systems.

Accelerated rates of disruptive innovation can be seen as both an opportunity and an existential threat for organisations. This is why consensus for good innovation practice can be so valuable as a basis for organisations to develop their own leading practice, adapting to and shaping external forces to their own advantage through an innovation management system. With the right implementation the standard aims to support organisations seeking sustained innovation success, wanting to develop their innovation capabilities, embed design and innovation to ensure that good practice is being followed.

Join the Masterclass

Join this Masterclass that will be led and facilitated by Dr Ben Watson, International Working Group Expert for Innovation Management Systems, Trustee and Councillor for the Institution of Engineering Designers, with over twenty years design and innovation leadership experience. Learn about the basics of the Innovation Management System, how the adoption of a standardised approach can lead to differentiation and gain insights into your own organisation aligned to the standard. With the right implementation the standard aims to support organisations seeking sustained innovation success by developing the ability to lead innovation activities, embed design and innovation into organisations and help to ensure that good practice is being followed.
